ORDERING

ONLINE - We have a made it easy for you to order online on our secure website. Just select your items, put them in your shopping cart and follow the online instructions. We accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. You will receive a confirmation of your order from us.

When ordering by phone a VISA, Mastercard, or American Express is required. Having your order written out and your credit card information prior to calling will make your phone ordering easier and also provide you with a record of your order.

ORDER PROCESSING

All in-stock merchandise will be shipped within 7 days after your order has been processed. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you when the item will be available or if you prefer you may substitute the item for another.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

CREDIT CARD - We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS cards. All credit cards will require credit authorization before the order is processed.

CHECK OR MONEY ORDER - We accept money orders, business and personal checks. All checks must be bank imprinted and cleared before the order will be processed(may take 1-2 weeks). Please include a phone number on your check. Make all checks and money orders payable to: Na Makua

SALES TAX
All Hawaii orders will be charged 4.167% Hawaii state sales tax.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

WILL CALL - We offer free delivery and pickups at Basically Books in Downtown Hilo. This is a free service we offer as a courtesy to our customers. Just place your order online and select Free Will Call as your delivery option. We will deliver your prepaid and packaged order at our earliest convenience to Basically Books within 2 to 5 business days. You will be notified via e-mail when your order is ready for pickup. This is not a same day delivery and pickup. Basically Books is our Will Call spot only.

HOW WE SHIP - We ship all Standard orders via insured U.S. Priority Mail with delivery confirmation receipt within the U.S.A. only. It normally takes 3 to 5 business days with the exception of the Christmas holiday season. We ship all Express orders via Insured 2 Day Express with delivery confirmation. If you want an alternative shipping method (FedEx, UPS, etc.) please let us know. You will be billed accordingly.

SHIPPING & HANDLING FEES - We have calculated our shipping charges based upon a per piece basis to give you the most economical rate possible.

TO CALCULATE YOUR SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES - Count the total number of items you are ordering and use the shipping chart below to find your shipping costs. That amount will be automatically added to your order when ordering online. See rates below:

Standard Shipping within Hawaii only

Standard Shipping within the U.S.A.

Express Shipping within Hawaii only

HOLIDAY SHIPPING
These are the recomended final ship dates according to the U.S. Postal Service.
Standard Holiday Shipping to the U.S. Mainland is December 16 and within Hawai'i is December 22.
Express Holiday Shipping to the U.S. Mainland is December 21 and within Hawai'i is December 23.

Although we will try our best to make your shipping date during the Christmas holiday season, we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date unless you place your order well in advance. Another option is to call us to verify an order and make sure that the items you want is in stock. This will expedite your order and insure your delivery date. We ship U. S. Postal Priority Mail. If you would prefer to use FedEX or UPS please contact us for the rate.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

We have a 30 Day Return Policy with original receipt. There are no cash or credit card refunds without a receipt or after 30 days from date of purchase, only exchanges or store credit. Please allow 3-4 weeks for all for all credit card refunds to be processed and issued on all refunds and exchanges.

We will not do any returns, exchanges or store credit on washed, worn, or altered garments regardless of reason, all returns and exchanges must be resellable and in the exact same condition they were purchased.

 
Some Sale items on our Clearance Page are discontinued items and cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. These items are clearly marked on the sale page in the desription area above the size selection. We do not do refunds or exchanges on these items for any reason.

All exchanges or store credits issued without a sales receipt will be at the current or last published price of the item regardless of the price paid.

All exchanges or store credit after one year of the purchase date, even with a receipt, will be issued at the current or last published price of the item.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for all refunds, store credits or exchanges to be processed and issued.

RETURN & EXCHANGE PROCESS - In the event there is an error on our part with your order, or a damaged garment, just contact us for a Return Authorization # and then return the items to us with the return authorization # clearly marked on the outside of the box as well as on a copy of the receipt with a note explaining reason of the exchange, and we will gladly exchange the items and pay for all exchange shipping. Items ordered and returned because they do not fit, do not qualify for free exchange shipping. Exchanges will only be made if all tags have not been removed and the item is in its new and unused condition.

If there was no mistake to your order on our part and you need to return or exchange an item for any other reason, please contact us for a Return Authorization # and then return the items to us with the return authorization # clearly marked on the outside of the box as well as on a copy of the receipt (if available), or note (if no receipt available) explaining reason of the return/exchange. The customer will pay for all return shipping to us and will be charged the appropriate re-shipping fee (at our standard shipping prices). If you are exchanging for an item of higher value, you must pay the difference. Sorry, there are no refunds on shipping and handling costs.
