ONLINE - We have a made it easy for you to order online on our secure website. Just select your items, put them in your shopping cart and follow the online instructions. We accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. You will receive a confirmation of your order from us.

When ordering by phone a VISA, Mastercard, or American Express is required. Having your order written out and your credit card information prior to calling will make your phone ordering easier and also provide you with a record of your order.


All in-stock merchandise will be shipped within 7 days after your order has been processed. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you when the item will be available or if you prefer you may substitute the item for another.


CREDIT CARD - We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS cards. All credit cards will require credit authorization before the order is processed.

CHECK OR MONEY ORDER - We accept money orders, business and personal checks. All checks must be bank imprinted and cleared before the order will be processed(may take 1-2 weeks). Please include a phone number on your check. Make all checks and money orders payable to: Na Makua

All Hawaii orders will be charged 4.167% Hawaii state sales tax.


WILL CALL - We offer free delivery and pickups at Basically Books in Downtown Hilo. This is a free service we offer as a courtesy to our customers. Just place your order online and select Free Will Call as your delivery option. We will deliver your prepaid and packaged order at our earliest convenience to Basically Books within 2 to 5 business days. You will be notified via e-mail when your order is ready for pickup. This is not a same day delivery and pickup. Basically Books is our Will Call spot only.

HOW WE SHIP - We ship all Standard orders via insured U.S. Priority Mail with delivery confirmation receipt within the U.S.A. only. It normally takes 3 to 5 business days with the exception of the Christmas holiday season. We ship all Express orders via Insured 2 Day Express with delivery confirmation. If you want an alternative shipping method (FedEx, UPS, etc.) please let us know. You will be billed accordingly.

SHIPPING & HANDLING FEES - We have calculated our shipping charges based upon a per piece basis to give you the most economical rate possible.

TO CALCULATE YOUR SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES - Count the total number of items you are ordering and use the shipping chart below to find your shipping costs. That amount will be automatically added to your order when ordering online. See rates below:

Standard Shipping within Hawaii only
One item     $ 6.00              for each additional item add  $ 1.00 each
Standard Shipping within the U.S.A.
One item     $ 10.00            for each additional item add  $ 1.00 each
Express Shipping within Hawaii only
One item     $ 15.00            for each additional item add  $ 1.00 each
Express Shipping within the U.S.A.
One item     $ 32.00            for each additional item add  $ 4.00 each

These are the recomended final ship dates according to the U.S. Postal Service.
Standard Holiday Shipping to the U.S. Mainland is December 16 and within Hawai'i is December 22.
Express Holiday Shipping to the U.S. Mainland is December 21 and within Hawai'i is December 23.

Although we will try our best to make your shipping date during the Christmas holiday season, we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date unless you place your order well in advance. Another option is to call us to verify an order and make sure that the items you want is in stock. This will expedite your order and insure your delivery date. We ship U. S. Postal Priority Mail. If you would prefer to use FedEX or UPS please contact us for the rate.


All Sales Are Final - No Cash or Credit Card Refunds, only exchanges or online store credit. We will not do any exchanges or store credit on washed, worn, or altered garments regardless of reason, all exchanges must be in the exact same condition it was purchased. In the event there is an error on our part with your order, just return the items to us and we will gladly exchange the items and pay for all exchange shipping. Exchanges will only be made if all tags have not been removed and the item is in its new and unused condition. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us first for a return authorization, then ship garment back to us and we will exchange them and charge you a re-shipping fee if appropriate. Exchanges must be for items of equal or greater value - no refunds will be made. If you are exchanging for an item of higher value, you must pay the difference. Sorry, there are no refunds on shipping and handling costs.
We don't do cash or credit card returns, but we will issue an online store credit for any returns that are in resellable condition.
